| My kids got me this hammock for my birthday and I love it! The quality of the hammock is great and looks like it will last for years to come. The hardwood spreader bars really give it stability even when my two little ones are jumping around in the hammock with me. The size of this hammock is great. I've seen some hammocks that are just too small (I'm a big guy, 6'3") but this hammock is big enough for me and my wife. When I first pulled it out of the box it looked too small and I was a little concerned but when I laid in it for the first time it stretched out and was perfect. Thanks kids!!! | |

| ...I ordered this hammock in early June. When it arrived..., I found it to be exactly as described on Amazon. No, it's not the most luxurious hammock in the world, but then I didn't expect it to be, based on its price. It is plenty big for my 6' 2" length. A caution here: Before judging your hammock as too small, it is necessary to mount it and lay in it for a while, giving it a chance to stretch. Sure, out of the box, it'll be much shorter and might appear to be too small. Let it stretch! The hammock includes a metal ring on each end, as expected. Mounting instructions were not included with the product. All I had to purchase was a couple of 2.5" screw eyes and two "S" hooks. A person with trees more than about 11 feet apart would also need to purchase a length of chain. My only recommendation would be to ensure the screw eyes, hooks, and chain have a rating sufficient to hold whatever amount of weight you intend to rest in the hammock. Don't try saving 25 cents on 1.5" screw eyes or you'll risk finding yourself on the ground with a sore rear end (or worse!). Purchase this product and enjoy lazy livin'! | |

| I HAD BOUGHT TROPIC ISLAND'S PC-13 MODEL MANY YEARS AGO AND IT LASTED 4-5 YEARS OF HEAVY USE. WHEN IT FINALLY WENT, I SHOPPED AROUND AND BOUGHT ANOTHER HAMMOCK FROM SERVICE MERCHANDISE. IT DIDN'T LAST THE SEASON. OVER THE YEARS, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER HAMMOCK AND WAS COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED WITH IT. AFTER I ORDERED THE PC-14 I FOUND A CHEAPER HAMMOCK IN A LOCAL STORE AND BOUGHT IT FOR THE PRICE. I WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY. WHEN THE PC-14 CAME, YOU COULD ACTUALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE. WHEN I USED IT, IT WAS OBVIOUS THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS WAS INDEED A BETTER MADE HAMMOCK. THE CHEAP ONE WAS RETURNED TO THE STORE THE NEXT DAY... |
