I purchased this after my husband and I had decided to "save up" for a spendy "select comfort" bed - as our old memory foam bed had "bit the dust". We've been using it about 8? months now - and purchased it at local retailer. We've had a couple leaks (mostly slow leaks) and have slept on it every night for these past 8 months or so - and not had any complaints - considering it is an airbed. We use a "memory foam" mattress pad on top for added "comfort" - but otherwise it is very nice - best nights sleep we've had in a long time - even before when we had the memory foam mattress - dual chambers are great - and it really works well for those who are prone to dust mite allergies as it can be easily wiped down with cleaning solution often and made back up. Inflating works well with our electrolux vacuum - less than 3 minutes and we're good - and we really only have to add air maybe once a month - and the VLP (vinyl liquid repair) works if we discover a small leak. We're not sure we want a select comfort now - maybe another one of these in a few months - as there does get to be a "dip" sort of after a while in each side - but nothing like a regular mattress gets after a while - and we use it on a regular box spring - for height purposes. Hope this helps everyone. The only reason I gave it 4 vs. 5 stars is because I don't like the fact that we don't have a "controller" to inflate it more or adjust the level of air in each chamber - but I guess that's what the other 800-900 dollars is for on the select comfort! (PS: We both have bad backs and the chiropractor can't believe we get a good nights rest on this bed - but is impressed with how well we do with it!)

Oh - I forgot to mention - we sometimes take it with us when we go to stay at relatives etc. so we can have our "own" bed like at home and not have to deal with inferior beds. And the dual chambers do work like they should - limiting transfer of body movement and heat - and to avoid "vinyl squeaking" from the mattress against the boxspring we have just used a flannel blanket to "buffer" - otherwise it would make noise everytime you roll over - but doesn't with this little trick.

Bought this product for my sister and my brother in law, was optimistic abt the fact that it had two independent chambers so that my 250lber brother in law and my 100lber sister could have a restful sleep over the holiday seasons. The independent chambers are hard to operate with less than intuitive instructions. The chambers were not truly independet because the second chamber shared with the first chamber a portion of the side/head/leg rest.....Moreover, the darn thing leaked in the morning, so my poor sister was virtually sleeping on the hardwood floor by the morning. This is definetely the last Coleman air bed purchase for us.

I purchased the coleman bed after reading the reviews on this site. I was more than impressed after using it more than once. The two air chambers is an excellent idea and the double valve helps so air does not get out when you are finished blowing it up.
