| One below wrote that he couldn't "char". Let me tell you that this baby gets hot! Using a bulb thermometer, I measured 550 degrees at the back, over a solid part of the grill. Placed directly above the flame it went off scale (600+ degrees F). It will CHAR your socks off on high. That's good.
Given the talk of the grill grate, I was expecting more mass. I am not a grill designer, so I believe what it has it what it needs. I do know hot, though, and this baby gets that and more. Lowes has the 14.1 oz LP bottles at 3 bucks. Give them a shake before buying, since one I picked up was obviously close-to-empty compared to the others. | weber has done it again with a topnotch small gas grill<br /> easy to use and clean, and rugged construction makes it a good choice for apartment outdoor grilling . everything i've cooked so far has been awsome i would recomend getting the kit 4 adding a larger gas tank the 14 oz ones burn out really quick.<br /> FCB | |

| My grill arrived with the handle broken, but Weber's polite and knowledgeable rep is sending me a new handle. Why let a broken handle slow me down or impede progress? I lit the grill up. WOW oh WOW ! What wonderful smoke came out, what a warm fire, and what beautiful grill marks on that hamburger!! And the taste. Oh the taste! My charcoal work never produced what this grill does. Our family of six always did the charcoal thing which was time-consuming and unreliable. This grill cooks fast. I cannot wait to lite up hamburgers for our 4 teenagers and their friends. Weber, about all I can say is thank you for helping a hardworking father provide joy and quality mealtimes for his family and loved ones. | |
