| My first gas grill! I didn't have $1000 to spend, and I didn't want el cheapo grill either. I decided to get this one. I got a good price on it and I bought the weber cover and routisseri also. It all works very well so far. It went together quickly and easily. It was 40 degrees outside and windy. It is much easier with two people though. I had help. Anyway, at 40 degrees it got up to 500 degrees plus in 5 minutes. It is easy to clean too, it works great. The side burner is hot though, as noted by someone else you can forget simmering with it. The routisseri is great ($69 from amazon) you can turn the middle burner off, run the front and back on 1/4 of the way up and cook a whole chicken. It comes out golden brown and juicy. I would buy this again, I am very happy with it so far. | |

| I recently bought a new grill to replace my 11 year old one that is quickly becoming a rust pile.
First off, this grill was a cinch to put together. Secondly, the food it cooks turns out great -- no more switching food around the grill surface so that the outside items can get done. This grill cooks evenly, so you can put the food on, flip it when it's time, and remove and eat it when it's done. Thirdly, the parts seem to be well made -- I suspect this one will outlast my last 'cheapie' grill (it lasted 11 years). Overall, I think I made a great purchase with this grill -- I was hesitant to pay this much for a grill, but the Amazon price ($500) was a good deal, no taxes, and having it delivered right to my door made it an easy purchase. I would recommend this grill as a minimum grill purchase, I would never go back to the cheapie grill I used previously. | |
