Good chairs, horrible finish |
| At first I was rather impressed with these chairs. They look great, are comfortable, and were easy to put together. However, I put them out on my patio, and was enjoying having them for a few weeks ... until it rained. The stain/finish that is on these chairs is garbage! I live in Arizona (no acid rain here), but the rain washed a large quantity off of the chairs and onto my pool deck, which now has two large mishapen brown stains. I've been scrubbing the deck with a wire brush and cleanser with minimal improvement. If I can't get the stains removed I may have to get the patio refinished. I have owned other outdoor furniture and never seen such a poor finishing product. I'm not happy that I paid money to have my deck damaged. |
Great deal! |
| I purchased two sets of chairs. One arrived in great condition and the other had minor scratches. They were very easy to assemble with the included hardware. The only problem was that one came with an unthreaded capnut and the other set also had one unthreaded capnut and a missing capnut that was supposed to be within the hardware. I called the toll free help number. They were very helpful and sent me the missing pieces so that I would not have to return the set back to amazon for an exchange (although that was definitely an option). The chairs are nice looking and comfortable. This was definitely a great deal. |
Two for the price of One |
| I purchased two of these chairs and after reading some reviews that were not favorable was nervous that I made bad decision. They arrived quickly and my husband put them together easily - I think he only used an Allen wrench. One kicker was that one chair came with two left arms but being creative as my husband is, he simly tapped the other side to create a right arm - no big deal. I got them when they were going for $50 each. They are comfortable enough and look very nice- good wood, not soft, and they came undamaged. |
